Pennzoil Australia is a proud major
supporting partner of the 2007 Aussie Racing Cars Series. The Series is now considered to be the most popular and highly regarded racing series
in Australia featuring as a support category at every major race event in 6 States across Australia including the Clipsal 500, Australian Grand
Prix, Gold Coast Indy Cars, Bathurst and prime V8 Supercar Championship rounds.
Pennzoil lubricants are used exclusively by Aussie Racing Cars. The makers of the vehicles are now recognized as the largest manufacturers
of racing cars ever in Australia and the on track competition is also regarded as the most successful ever in this country.
The Series has grown in prominence over the last few seasons and now receives major Television exposure in its own "Aussie Racing Cars"
branded program that features on pay TV both nationally and internationally.
The Pennzoil Racing Team campaigns no less than 4 highly competitive racing machines. The team’s lead car is liveried in Pennzoil Platinum
colours and three are in the traditional world recognized bright yellow. The cars and driver talent are represented in two divisions of the Series.
Outright Contenders
David Lawrence - Car 16, Pennzoil Platinum Racing, Platinum Falcon
22 years old Go Kart champion having his
first season driving in Aussie Racing Cars in
the flagship for the Team, the Pennzoil Platinum
Falcon. This young charger who has grown up in
Go Kart racing, lives and breathes motorsport
and his tenacious attitude towards his driving
is second to none. Winning in Karts has become
a way of life for the young charger. He has the
ability and ambition to lead the pack in the
Platinum car and he won’t accept anything less.

Grant Crosby - Car 4, Works Team Pennzoil Racing, Pennzoil Commodore
Former New Zealand V8 Development Series racer
who has expanded his horizons to compete in front

racing career. Aussie Racing Cars need to be driven
hard and on the edge and Crosby’s tiger instinct
and winning experience gained behind the wheel

of the Series. When the action is on you will invariably
catch the yellow Falcon of Mark Duckworth in amongst it.

The Pennzoil Lubricants Aussie Racing Cars equip of drivers and
cars are the most diverse of any under the distinctive oval banner
around the world. The mix of raw young talent on one hand balanced
with maturity and experience on the other forms a perfect platform
to demonstrate winning performance. Each team driver relies on the
quality and superiority of Pennzoil’s famous lubricants to give them
the edge. In the heat and the rigors of top level competition at
over 11,500RPM Pennzoil is the only one they count on.
"We are thrilled with the long term
support that the famous Pennzoil Company has provided to the category.
Their bright yellow liveried race cars have become a tradition in most
aspects of big-time motor racing and we are very proud to promote that
world wide tradition across Australia. We have come to rely on the
superior quality of Pennzoil’s lubricants which have given us outstanding
reliability and performance in this highly stressed and competitive
environment. The engines we use are standard units originally designed
for road going use but the fantastic lubricating qualities of Pennzoil
Products have enabled us to stress them to the limit under extreme
racing conditions with complete reliability. We have the highest praise
for Pennzoil products and they carry my personal recommendation for any
high performance application".
